6
Week 6

Day-to-day mobility often feels easier. Clients frequently tell us they are sleeping better because they are more comfortable.

Lasting results

Consistent sessions tend to produce the most noticeable, lasting change in how clients feel during activity and recovery.

The science

How it works

Near-infrared light (about 810–850 nm) penetrates deeper into tissue than visible red light. Published photobiomodulation research reports support for muscle recovery, joint comfort and the body's normal inflammatory response when light is delivered at an adequate dose. Infrared sauna heat supports circulation and relaxation, which is why we pair the two.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can red light therapy help with knee pain without injections?

Red light therapy is non-invasive and drug-free. It is not a medical treatment, and we do not diagnose or treat conditions. Many clients with achy knees, shoulders or backs report feeling more comfortable with consistent sessions. We recommend checking with your doctor for any ongoing pain.

How soon will I feel a difference?

Many clients notice reduced soreness within the first two weeks. Lasting changes in mobility and comfort usually build over 6–12 weeks.

Is it safe after surgery or with an injury?

Please tell us at your consultation and check with your doctor first. We do not provide sessions over open wounds or recent surgical sites without your doctor's okay.

Red light therapy vs. infrared sauna, which is better for recovery?

They do different things. Infrared sauna heats the body for circulation and relaxation. Red and near-infrared light delivers specific wavelengths at a measured dose. Most recovery plans use both.

Can I use it before or after a workout?

Either. Many athletes use red light before training to warm up and after to support recovery. Your plan will suggest timing based on your routine.

Does it work for arthritis?

We cannot make medical claims. Many clients with stiff joints tell us they feel more comfortable with regular sessions. Talk with your doctor about adding red light therapy to your routine.

How much does it cost?

Every plan is built around your goals in a complimentary consultation, where we walk through options in person. There is no obligation.

Heatwave Lux is a wellness studio, not a medical provider. Our sessions are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Individual results vary. Talk to your doctor before starting any new wellness routine, especially if you are pregnant or have a medical condition.
